        2019 RAM 1500 OK but not great ...

        I guess I was expecting (or hoping for) more from the "NEW" RAM ... THE GOOD > HEMI 5.7L - smooth powerful and torquey, > relatively quiet > rides and drives well for a pickup THE BAD > HEMI 5.7L fuel economy is abysmal anytime as is the multi displacement system which seems to only work when going downhill THE UGLY > build quality seems questionable, assorted creaks and groans and squeaks > noise cancelling system is junk, at times it adds its own noise to the cabin when things are rattling around in the back > at only 18K miles at times there are puffs of blue smoke (oil) at startup after sitting overnight WOULD I BUY ANOTHER? NO I WILL PASS…

        Love my 2021 Dodge Ram Limited truck but…

        I already need new tires after failing inspection with 29K miles and less than 2 years of owning the brand new truck. This comes a month after a cheap part broke on the side step that one would think would be covered under warranty but instead of covering it there was a money grab of over $200 to “diagnose” the cheap plastic that broke, and for the $200 part replacement cost they tried charging $1000 to replace it. Come on Dodge, you are ruining your brand!!…

        So I optioned first a 2019 Ram Bighorn,8.5 inch nav loaded screen,Level II package,4x4,3:92 axle ELocker,6ft bed.Got pricing from 5 Ram dealerships.Went to 3 Ford dealership’s and all of them never beat the price of the Ram 1500.And these were either ordered or on lots F-150 XLT trim with upgraded to 5.0L V-8 I did not want the V-6 TT turbo engine option to much money with 10 speed.Chevy’s trucks interior was even close in terms of comfort and center-stack just look old schooled.Both the Ford and the Chevy were more money or with in 900.0 dallors of the Ram 1500 but the styling and interior was just way better than the Ford F-150,and the Silverado...GM was not discounting hardly at all so the dealers were bring the price down on there side..Ford F-150’s interior was well just cheap looking with the small screen and hardly had no center storage because the shifter was there,not like the Ram 1500 had. The Ram 1500 center console is just way better design by a mile...Test drove all 3 and the Ram with the coil spring rode the best hands down and was far quieter inside while driving in city traffic during rush hour..My previous truck was a 2014 Ford F-150.I was a brand loyal kinda guy but after all the trips to these dealerships it became evident the Ram 1500 was the easy choice with my hard earn dallor..…

Customer must present to Pilson a Purchase Order from another local, non-Pilson, franchise dealer and located no more than 150 miles from Pilson's location, selling the same make, model, trim and MSRP as Pilson. Competition Purchase Order must be signed by both the Guest and competing dealer management for an identical vehicle to the one in Pilson's inventory. Competitor's Purchase Order MUST include VIN number. Price is inclusive of all applicable OEM rebates and OEM incentives; and those OEM offers must be currently available and not expired. These types vehicles are excluded from qualifying; current or former demonstrator, loaner, damaged (hail, etc), special event or limited edition models. Customer must pay for non-factory installed equipment. If Pilson cannot beat the competitions written offer, Pilson will provide the customer with a FREE 7 night resort stay (one week getaway package) provided by Odenza Marketing Group.
